Volleyball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Riverside was the 3-0 winner over James F. Byrnes when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.

Riverside wouldn't go down easily and took James F. Byrnes into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking eight-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17, 23-25, 21-25, 15-7.

James F. Byrnes was led to victory by Anna McCravy and Carly Peacock. McCravy had 11 digs and two aces, while Peacock had five digs and two aces. That's the most digs Peacock has posted over her last seven matches.

Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for James F. Byrnes, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 12-15 record.
