Soccer Recap: Murray County Comes Up Short

If Murray County was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Dalton Academy last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Murray County Indians fell just short of the Fannin County Rebels by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday. The contest was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but the Indians couldn't quite close it out.

Murray County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Fannin County, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Murray County is taking a road trip to face off against Adairsville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fannin County, they will welcome Dalton Academy at 5:30 p.m. on March 4th.
