Volleyball Recap: Chickasha Takes a Loss

After flying high against Varsity Opponent on Tuesday, Chickasha came back down to earth. The Fighting Chicks lost 3-0 to the Tecumseh Savages on Thursday. The Fighting Chicks have struggled against the Savages recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20, 25-14.

Zoee Jones paced Chickasha's offense, picking up five kills. Jones really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 13. KK Willard controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Chickasha's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Tecumseh, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Chickasha is taking a road trip to challenge Santa Fe South at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tecumseh, they will welcome MacArthur at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
