After losing to Heritage the last time they met, Sebastian River decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Sebastian River Sharks managed a 64-58 victory over the Heritage Panthers on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sharks.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Malik Brown, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. Those 14 points gave Brown a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Joe Cruz, who posted 13 points.

Sebastian River is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.9 points per game. As for Heritage, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-17.

Sebastian River has already played their next game, a 62-38 win against Lincoln Park Academy on the 28th. As for Heritage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 79-76 loss against Cocoa Beach on the 29th.
