Volleyball Recap: Eagleton College & Career Academy's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Eagleton College & Career Academy came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the South-Doyle Cherokees, falling 3-0. The Royals have struggled against the Cherokees recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

While Eagleton College & Career Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 25-10.

Devrey Davis paced Eagleton College & Career Academy's offense, picking up three kills. Davis got some help from Karah White and her four assists. White was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Eagleton College & Career Academy fell to 3-1. As for South-Doyle, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eagleton College & Career Academy will square off against Bearden at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South-Doyle, they will take on Beechwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
