Soccer Recap: South Lenoir Takes a Loss

South Lenoir lost against Wallace-Rose Hill back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 1-0. South Lenoir fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Wallace-Rose Hill since on Tuesday.

This is the second loss in a row for South Lenoir and nudges their season record down to 4-7. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, they moved to 5-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. South Lenoir will take on rival East Duplin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wallace-Rose Hill is set to challenge their familiar foe North Lenoir at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
