Baseball Recap: Waskom Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Tuesday. Waskom lost 21-3 to Harleton. Waskom hasn't had much luck with Harleton recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Jacob Woodward was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-2. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times he's played.

Waskom's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Harleton, they moved to 5-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

While Waskom had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
