After losing to Bad Axe the last time they met, Unionville-Sebewaing decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Unionville-Sebewaing Patriots snuck past the Bad Axe Hatchets with a 56-51 victory on Friday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Patriots' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 410th, while the Hatchets are ranked 161st).

Unionville-Sebewaing's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Bad Axe, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Unionville-Sebewaing will venture away from home to face off against Cass City at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Unionville-Sebewaing is facing Cass City at the right time seeing as Cass City is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bad Axe, they will head out to square off against Laker at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
