Soccer Recap: Roosevelt Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Roosevelt had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 4-0 to the Jefferson Cavaliers. Roosevelt were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Jefferson apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Roosevelt will take on rival Pierre T.F. Riggs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give Roosevelt their first taste of in-conference action this season. Meanwhile, Jefferson is set to face off against their familiar foe Aberdeen Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
