There's no place like home for Cary-Grove, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Kaneland Knights by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Saturday.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cary-Grove to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kara Dunker, who had 12 digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Anna Klimek, who had five digs and five aces.

They weren't the only good server: Cary-Grove was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Cary-Grove's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-16. As for Kaneland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Cary-Grove will take on Prairie Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Kaneland and Sycamore will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
