League recap: Cathedral's Upton delivers best pitching performance from past week

Caleb Upton was the best pitcher in 1A Region 7 this week. He won two games and struck out six batters.

Kyle Bradley was the hottest hitter in the league this week, racking up a .333 average, one home run and three RBIs. Cathedral compiled a record of 1-1 in that time.

The Green Wave's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 19 hits and four walks to lead the league in both categories. Cathedral has given up a mere 117 hits on the year in addition to compiling 135 strikeouts. Blake Martin is the leader in that category with 63 Ks on the season.
