Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Cedarville walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Fayetteville-Perry Rockets on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Indians sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Cedarville pushed their record up to 17-6-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Fayetteville-Perry, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-16.

Cedarville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-0 loss against Russia on the 5th. Fayetteville-Perry does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
