After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Morris Central/Edmeston Central, South Kortright Central was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Gilboa-Conesville Central Wildcats 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Rams have posted against the Wildcats since April 6, 2022.

The victory made it two in a row for South Kortright Central and bumps their season record up to 8-3. As for Gilboa-Conesville Central, they moved to 4-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
