Baseball Recap: Melrose Takes a Loss

Melrose lost against Arlington back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Red Raiders lost 7-1 to the Spy Ponders. The match marked the Red Raiders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Melrose's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Arlington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

Coming up, Melrose will host Westport at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Arlington, they will head out on the road to challenge Watertown at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Spy Ponders are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
