Soccer Game Preview: Howard vs. West Laurens

Howard is 0-7 against West Laurens since March of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Howard Huskies will host the West Laurens Raiders at 5:00 p.m. Howard has given up an average of 5.9 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Howard lost 11-1 to Academy of Richmond County on Thursday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Huskies were already down 5-0.

Meanwhile, West Laurens kept a clean sheet against Westside on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Patriots as they made off with a 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won three contests by nine goals or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for West Laurens and bumps their season record up to 5-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those two games. As for Howard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9.
