Max Engle turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than seven strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out 14 batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Westview is 4-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 2-8 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Engle and Westview will head out on the road to face off against Goshen at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
