Bonny Eagle has gone 6-1 against Marshwood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Scots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hawks at 4:30 p.m. Bonny Eagle is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.
Bonny Eagle will bounce into Wednesday's contest after beating Noble, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Scots blew past the Knights 18-1 on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Scots considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Neveah Hagerman made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season.
In other batting news, Catherine Lopresti and Reese Bryant did most of the damage at the plate: Lopresti went 1-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double, while Bryant went 3-for-4 with three runs. Another player making a difference was Leah Curtis, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
Bonny Eagle kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.
Meanwhile, Marshwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 19-7 to Thornton Academy. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Hawks have suffered against the Trojans since April 28, 2017.
Lilly Gennaro made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Zoe Carnes was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
Marshwood's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Bonny Eagle, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
Bonny Eagle skirted past Marshwood 9-7 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Do the Scots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
