Baseball Recap: East Windsor Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when East Windsor took on Suffield on Friday. The Panthers fell 5-1 to the Wildcats. The Panthers have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

East Windsor saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tim Mehan, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

East Windsor's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Suffield, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, East Windsor will head out on the road to square off against Ellington at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Suffield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
