After flying high against Signal Mountain on Tuesday, Soddy Daisy came back down to earth. The Trojans fell just short of the Wilson Central Wildcats by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The Trojans' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Alexander Pinson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on four hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

Soddy Daisy's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9-1. As for Wilson Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Soddy Daisy will venture away from home to square off against Bradley Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wilson Central, they will head out to face off against McMinn County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
