Recap: Nanakuli Golden Hawks vs. Mid-Pacific Institute Owls
The Nanakuli Golden Hawks's game on Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 59-49 win over Mid-Pacific Institute. That's another feather in the cap for Nanakuli, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Several Owls players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Riley Miura, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Logan Mason, who scored 13 points.
Nanakuli now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Mid-Pacific Institute, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
Nanakuli's road trip will continue as they head out to face Crossroads. Mid-Pacific Institute will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Oak Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th.
