Naperville Central extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Glenbard West. Their defense stepped up to hand the Hilltoppers a 25-0 shutout. Considering the Redhawks have won nine games by more than 24 points this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Naperville Central's seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-3. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.0 points on average over those games. As for Glenbard West, they moved to 17-2 with that loss, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.

Naperville Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 28-0 defeat against Willowbrook on the 13th. Glenbard West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
