Basketball Game Preview: Gatesville Hornets vs. Lorena Leopards

Gatesville hasn't had much luck against Lorena recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Gatesville Hornets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lorena Leopards at 6:30 p.m.

On Friday, Gatesville had to suffer through a 72-44 loss at the hands of La Vega. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 492nd, while the Pirates are ranked 116th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lorena, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past Robinson, posting a 70-40 win.

Lorena now has a winning record of 17-16. As for Gatesville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-13.
