Basketball Game Preview: Julian Jaguars vs. Woodlawn

The Julian Jaguars will face off against Woodlawn at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Julian is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Butler just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost to the Lynx on the road by a 66-52 margin.

Meanwhile, Woodlawn entered their tilt with Urban Prep-Bronzeville/Urban Prep-Englewood on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Lions by a score of 72-65.

Julian's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Woodlawn, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.

Julian and Woodlawn were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in January of 2022, but Julian came up empty-handed after a 39-38 loss. Thankfully for Julian, Daniel Brown (who posted 23 points) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
