Football Recap: Sheridan Blackhawks vs. Clinton Central Bulldogs        
        
		
             Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better  (just ask Sheridan). They took down the Clinton Central Bulldogs 43-26  on Friday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Blackhawks.
  Jaylen Arnold was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 177 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, and also picking up 33 receiving yards and a touchdown. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 110  rushing yards per game. Another back making a difference was  Alex Cravens, who rushed for 123 yards and two touchdowns.
 He was just one part of a punishing run game: Sheridan was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 329  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 152  rushing yards in four consecutive  contests.
 The  win  got Sheridan back to even at 2-2. As for Clinton Central,  this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 2-2.
 Sheridan will square off against Clinton Prairie at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Clinton Prairie will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something Sheridan surely won't give up without a fight. As for Clinton Central, they will face off against Taylor at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
