Basketball Game Preview: Tuscarora Titans vs. Frederick Cadets

Tuscarora is 0-10 against Frederick since February of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Tuscarora Titans will look to defend their home court against the Frederick Cadets. Tuscarora has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Tuscarora is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took a 54-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Hagerstown two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, Frederick waltzed into their contest on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They secured a 39-35 W over the Falcons. Given the Cadets' advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 35th, while the Falcons are ranked 97th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tuscarora's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Frederick, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Tuscarora was dealt a bruising 65-31 loss at the hands of Frederick in their previous meeting back in January. Can Tuscarora avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
