Basketball Recap: Red Lake Warriors vs. Fond du Lac Ojibwe O Ogichida
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Red Lake). They enjoyed a cozy 75-59 victory over the Fond du Lac Ojibwe O Ogichida on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.
Red Lake got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Austin Perkins out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 boards. Perkins is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Tyrone Beaulieu Jr, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds.
Red Lake was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
