Sports Leadership & Management kept a clean sheet against Avant Garde Academy on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Avant Garde Academy Sharks. The Cobras' winning goal came courtesy of Cielo Murrillo.

Sports Leadership & Management is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-9-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four games. As for Avant Garde Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 0-11-2 record this season.
