Volleyball Recap: Concord Takes a Loss

Concord was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Freedom Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Monday.

Jumaiya Tabayoyong paced Concord's offense, picking up seven kills. Tabayoyong got some help from Levi Serrano and his 12 assists.

Concord's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Freedom, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Concord didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Miramonte on the 11th. As for Freedom, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Oakland on the 8th.
