Baseball Preview: Fisher Bunnies vs. Oakwood Comets
The Fisher Bunnies will face off against the Oakwood Comets at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Fisher barely beat Cissna Park the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Fisher put the hurt on Cissna Park with a sharp 15-5 victory on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bunnies considering their one-run performance the contest before.
Jaymz Hammock was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over 3.1 innings while giving up three earned runs but no hits. Hammock was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Jesse Arndt was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Weston Ensign was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-5.
