Burns and Upton/Sundance pushed the score to 48-18 the last time they played Upton/Sundance, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Broncs' defense stepped up to hand the Bobcats a 26-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Broncs, who have now won four matchups by 26 points or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Burns and bumps their season record up to 6-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.5 points over those games. As for Upton/Sundance, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4.
