Wheaton North waltzed into their match  on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with  a   2-0  victory over the South Elgin Storm. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Storm, too.
 While Wheaton North might've won, it sure wasn't easy: South Elgin scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19,  25-21.
 Wheaton North's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Emily Rochford, who  had five  aces and three  digs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Abby Lee, who  had ten  digs and two  assists.
Wheaton North's win bumped their record up to 21-14. As for South Elgin, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 23-11 record  this season.
 Wheaton North and South Elgin are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Falcons will take on Glenbard North at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for South Elgin, they will welcome Rolling Meadows  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
