Baseball Recap: Edgewood Takes a Loss

Edgewood fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Brownsboro on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bears by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since March 12th.

Edgewood's defeat dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Brownsboro, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-7.

Looking ahead, Edgewood will challenge Quitman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brownsboro, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-3 loss against White Oak on the 11th.
