Nease is 1-7 against Bartram Trail since November of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m.

Nease managed to slip by Buchholz the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers lost 27-7 to the Bobcats last Friday. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, Nease got top-tier performance from Enrique Ordo?ez, who rushed for 137 yards and one touchdown on only 14 carries. Ordo?ez really tore up the turf during one magnificent 71-yard run.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bartram Trail). They breezed past Tocoi Creek to the tune of 56-21 last Friday. The Bears pushed the score to 49-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Toros had little chance of recovering from.

Nease better keep an eye on Arthur Lewis. He was instrumental in Bartram Trail's win, rushing for 158 yards and four TDs on only ten carries. Lewis' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 110 rushing yards. Another player making a difference was Gavin Peterson, who rushed for 86 yards and one score on only six carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Bartram Trail was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 359 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Bartram Trail's defense and their four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece. Another thorn in Tocoi Creek's side was Connor Demarco, who picked up a sack and made ten total tackles (2.0 for loss).

The victory made it two in a row for Bartram Trail and bumps their season record up to 2-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.0 points over those games. As for Nease, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Nease strolled past Bartram Trail in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a score of 56-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
