Volleyball Recap: Southeast Takes a Loss

Southeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Crest. Southeast was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Crest apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Crest scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21.

Despite the defeat, Southeast saw an underclassman step up: freshman Addy Ulepich had ten digs.

Southeast's loss dropped their record down to 8-22-1. As for Crest, they pushed their record up to 14-15 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coincidentally, Southeast and Crest will both be playing Marmaton Valley the next time they take the court. Crest will head out to face Marmaton Valley on Tuesday, while Southeast will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
