Kennedy had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 31-point drubbing they dealt Panorama on Wednesday. The Kennedy Cougars breezed past the Panorama Pythons to the tune of 54-23. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 63-35 back in January.

Kennedy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Diego Zavala out in front who posted seven points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave Zavala a new career-high in points. Anthony Salazar also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Despite the loss, Panorama had strong showings from Raphael Latorre, who had seven points, and Eddie Munguia, who earned six points.

Kennedy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.9 points over those games. As for Panorama, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

Kennedy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-25 win against Canoga Park on the 7th. As for Panorama, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 51-46 defeat against San Fernando on the 6th.
