Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lovett walked away with it. They never let the Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for Lovett, who have now won 14 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Lovett's fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those four contests. As for Holy Innocents Episcopal, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-4.

Looking ahead, Lovett will challenge Greater Atlanta Christian on Thursday. Greater Atlanta Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Lovett surely won't give up without a fight. Holy Innocents Episcopal does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
