Basketball Recap: Nebraska City Comes Up Short

Nebraska City lost against McCook back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Nebraska City Pioneers lost 46-23 to the McCook Bison. The matchup marked the Pioneers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Nebraska City's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for McCook, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nebraska City will welcome Falls City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McCook, they will take on Broken Bow at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
