Volleyball Recap: Selma Scott's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Jacksonville Christian Academy over Hilltop Christian + How To Watch

After flying high against Fellowship Christian Academy on Thursday, Jacksonville Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Conquerors fell just short of the Hilltop Christian Chargers by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Conquerors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Jacksonville Christian Academy actually scored more points across those five sets (105-103), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-21, 16-25, 22-25, 25-21, 15-13.

Scott is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 18 every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Anna Hodges, who had 22 digs, eight blocks, and six kills.

Jacksonville Christian Academy's record now sits at 3-2. As for Hilltop Christian, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.
