Woodbridge has gone 9-0-1 against Irvine recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Woodbridge Warriors will take on the Irvine Vaqueros at 5:00 p.m. Woodbridge's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Woodbridge took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past Sage Hill 2-1. Even though the Warriors got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Anthony Hernandez was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Daniel Kang and Jiho Shin scored both of Woodbridge's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, Irvine made sure to put some goals up on the board against Portola on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Bulldogs out 4-3. Considering the Vaqueros' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The win made it two in a row for Irvine and bumps their season record up to 8-6-2. As for Woodbridge, their victory bumped their record up to 4-10-6.

Woodbridge skirted past Irvine 2-1 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Woodbridge since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
