Soccer Recap: Woodland Takes a Loss

If Woodland was riding high fresh off their 9-3 takedown of Barnwell on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolverines came up short against the Berkeley Stags on Wednesday, falling 4-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Berkeley this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 back in March.

Woodland's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Berkeley, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9-1.

Looking ahead, Woodland will challenge Hammond at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Berkeley, they will face off against Goose Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Berkeley are facing Goose Creek at the right time seeing as Goose Creek are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
