Volleyball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Mesquite Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Friday.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Mesquite, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-2.

Looking ahead, Mountain View will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Casa Grande at 6:00 p.m. As for Mesquite, they will head out to take on Saguaro at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Wildcats' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
