Basketball Recap: Joseph Morrow's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy over Pleasant View Christian

Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy lost against Pleasant View Christian back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy Archers fell 69-58 to the Pleasant View Christian Warriors. The Archers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Several Archers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Joseph Morrow, who went 8 of 15 en route to 23 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Raby, who went 7 for 14 on his way to 15 points and six boards.

Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Pleasant View Christian, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-3.
