Volleyball Recap: Milton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Milton and South Effingham squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Milton had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Mustangs. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Mustangs 25-21 in the first set.

Milton started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-21, 25-19, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Milton still got an impressive performance from Shelby Matteson, who had 22 digs and four aces. Matteson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Milton's defeat dropped their record down to 25-16. As for South Effingham, they pushed their record up to 40-10 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home.

Milton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Effingham, they will take on McIntosh at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
