Basketball Recap: Ardmore Comes Up Short

Ardmore lost against East Lawrence two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ardmore Tigers fell to the East Lawrence Eagles 53-49.

Ardmore has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for East Lawrence, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Ardmore Tigers challenge the West Limestone Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Limestone knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Ardmore likes a good challenge. As for East Lawrence, they will head out on the road to face off against Addison at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
