Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bronson). Everything went their way against the North Marion Colts on Monday as they made off with a 19-4 win. Considering the Eagles have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Tegan Barber was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Maddie Dean, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Bronson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .750. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
The victory was the third in a row for Bronson, bringing their record up to 13-11. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for North Marion, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-18.
