Volleyball Recap: Xavier Prep Comes Up Short

Xavier Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Banning Broncos.

While Banning got the win, Xavier Prep sure made them earn it: two sets took extra rallies. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 27-25, 22-25, 25-21.

Xavier Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Banning, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Xavier Prep will welcome Desert Hot Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Banning, they will take on Cathedral City at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cathedral City will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Banning surely won't give up without a fight.
