Volleyball Recap: Kulipa Julian Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Glades Day + How To Watch

Moore Haven won the last time they faced Glades Day and things went their way on Thursday too. The Terriers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Gators. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Terriers.

Moore Haven never let Glades Day on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-7, 25-16.

Moore Haven's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kulipa Julian, who had ten digs and three aces. Julian is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Trinity Guerry, who had six assists and five aces.

They weren't the only good server: Moore Haven was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Glades Day didn't served any aces.

Moore Haven's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Glades Day, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Moore Haven didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Gulf Coast on the 12th. As for Glades Day, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Glades Central on the 15th.
