Soccer Game Preview: Harrison vs. Homestead

The Harrison Raiders will take on the Homestead Spartans at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Harrison comes in on five and Homestead on six.

Harrison is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Hamilton Southeastern.

Meanwhile, Homestead faced Carroll in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Spartans came out on top against the Chargers by a score of 3-1. Three seems to be a good number for Homestead as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Homestead's win bumped their record up to 14-3-3. As for Harrison, their victory bumped their record up to 16-1-3.
