Football Recap: Wilkes Central Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Wilkes Central and R-S Central squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Wilkes Central had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 48-6 loss at the hands of the Hilltoppers. The Eagles' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

R-S Central found their leader in sophomore CJ Sparks, who rushed for 80 yards and a pair of scores on only ten carries.

Wilkes Central now has a losing record of 5-6. As for R-S Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Wilkes Central nor R-S Central have any future games scheduled.
