Softball Recap: Palisades Pumas vs. Ballantyne Ridge Wolves

Palisades came out on top against Ballantyne Ridge on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive 14-run first inning. The Pumas blew past the Wolves 15-7. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-6 back in March.

Zahria Montgomery was incredible, firing off four doubles, three RBI, and two runs while going 4-for-5. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Janiya Johnson was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Palisades was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ballantyne Ridge only posted a batting average of .276.
